It's probably safe enough to buy if you're in it for the mid to long-term. The risk of nuclear war is minimal. I'd say Russian and US comments about it are really just 'sabre rattling' along with media hype.

I sold some yesterday in an attempt to optimise the short-term returns from my trading. I intend to buy them back within the next couple of weeks, hopefully at a slightly lower price. Doing nothing would have been a valid strategy and probably a little less risky, but I like to dabble a bit even though it's probably more sensible to buy and hold.
