I upvoted your post @pdi because I think it's important to be aware of the risks, and I agree that most of what you said are real risks. Despite this, I still remain heavily invested in AAU because of its opportunities. The gold price will need to go up in time for AAU to get financing and I see that as possibly the biggest of the risks. The 25year gold chart suggests the gold price is approaching a turning point between US$1600 and $US1500. The US dollar is high and should drop sometime in the not-too-distant future, triggering the reversal, which is helping to keep me invested in AAU.
