Of course I assume that you acknowledge the BRICS nations represent over 40% of Global Population, with India projected to be the standout growth nation looking forward.

Also this summary by Jim Rickards came into email last night AFTER I posted my prior comments, I find Jim Rickards pretty credible, it's probably why he previously worked for the US government facilitating the first ever Currency Wars simulation by the Dept of Defence,please note the bit about: 100 members outside of Russia

Also on the concern over who is going to run AAU into the future, well I feel there are competent people in the wings, but the reality is and it's also something quoted in prior interviews by Brian himself, that:
"a significant project like El Pilar would be too big for AAU alone to handle", and
"maybe we can bring on an operational equity partner at value rather than at market price", and
"a deposit of similar potential was sold undeveloped for $800M"

so to those foreshadowed comments, I doubt (infact I think it is quite silly to have an expectation) that AAU with headquarters in little old Bowral will be be going it alone.

so further to that, do you know:

Tiger Metals PLC is in the Top 20
Trafigura Mines already operates in Cuba and is a multi-national

and then there's the option of another multi-national mounting a takeover bid in much the way that BHP have sought to make a takeover offer of Oz Minerals to get their hands of some more copper resources.

and finally on the concerns of the financial business case, the upcoming meeting where the specific Resolution vote to pass the Shares instead of Cash payment to D.R. Melling Consulting Inc, who was the firm engaged to work on progressing of things through to DFS/ BFS and FID for La Demajagua Open Pit, let me repeat that he accepted payment in shares at 5 cents / share rather than cash !!

There's a fair bit stacking up, not the least of which is the confirmation of the porphyry prospective deposit being what this thread is about, so if El Pilar is shaping up to look good as a potential deposit, what about the other two deposits in the near vicinity Gaspar and San Nicholas ?

Negative? I don't think so, just I don't like hype and you aware of the first rule of investing? Never loose money.

Of course I have interest in other companies. I have interest in AAU too.

It beneficial for other members to see positive and negatives views, so far we are living in the country that we don't `get punished for expressing our views, but who knows whats the future brings under inevitable BRICS dominance and their autocratic world. It seems that this is a dream of some of us here.
