its ironic that RDM do hard rock granite leaching bastnaesite 70 degrees 40g/L sulphuric for 80% recoveries with ANSTO,
and yet here we have bastnaesite (same mineral in regolith) for almost zero recoveries because the mineral was not heat treated but ambient temperature HCL 25g/L for almost zero recoveries with ALS
