Yeah - it will be interesting to see if this is more of a social licence/PR thing with Glencore attempting to keep marginal Cu producers in the Mt Isa/Cloncurry area alive (or keeping the mining economies of scale present in the region), note that these guys are making metal plate and not concentrate, so are others thinking this is more about the Townsville Copper Refinery, rather than the Mt Isa mining and concentrator operations?
