This is pure speculation based on nothing but my overactive (tin foil hat?) mind looking for reasons for the prolonged suspension, but is it possible that DJ has pledged a chunk of his extensive holdings as security for a margin loan. This would trigger a call if the price dropped too low & likely result in a huge spike in volume for sale and a potential share price death spiral.
As I say, pure idle speculation, but it may provide reasoning for this unusual suspension duration - a lender can't call on a suspended stock!
Without the suspension there would have been some great trading opportunities for those brave enough to take on the risk - the twists & turns are quite intriguing
