It will take a while to gain any momentum, basically they have to show actual operating performance in particular getting the strip requirements under control but at least they look like they will have a chance to do so and with the recent improvement in copper price it is a real chance.
I did not expect Glencore to step up in such a fashion, hope they gave Wingate a good haircut on the debt value, maybe they want to win back a few brownie points after the Mt Isa closure announcement & didn't want the hassle of running such a small operation internally.
No matter the reasoning, at least we minion shareholders are back in with a sniff - a pleasant way to start the week
