If "time is money" as the quote goes you may have frittered away heaps!!
Yes, you are right.
It has been a bit of a waste of time, unfortunately.
I think that part of the problem was that I was - some 4 years ago when I first came across MSB - partly influenced by the unbridled enthusiasm of many holders of the stock who were posting at the time that the company was not far away from commercialisation (not unlike today, incidentally).
And I suspect those holders were, in turn, influenced by the company's pronouncements which, as far back as 2010 was referring to one of its products as providing scope and opportunity to "generate early and significant revenues for the company" [*].
So - given the many claims that the company was not too far off the point of commercialisation - I thought it might be worth investing some of my time to research the business. (Because, as I have stated on many occasions, should MSB one day succeed in reaching the point of commercial self-sustainability, it will be a financial juggernaut.)
But, of course, the weeks became months and the month became years. And no revenue was generated. Lots of capital was raised, however.
And here we are today, at a point where meaningful revenue generation seems to me to be as far away as people were intimating in 2014 (and 2010, for that matter).
Even I - being more conservative than most - by far under-estimated how long it would take.
So, yes, it has cost me the time that I have invested in following the stock.
Just as it has cost you your time.
But, at least all I've foregone is some time.
Unlike may on these threads, I've not "frittered away" any of the value of my capital.
My capital is not only intact by not having been invested in MSB, but it has appreciated in value while being allocated to companies that are, in fact, commercially self-sustaining.
Given my personal circumstances, I don't mind spilling a bit of time.
But I don't like spilling my capital.
[*] Source: 2010 Annual Report. Sadly, that product not only has not generated any revenues whatsoever (let alone "early and significant" ones), but it no longer rates any mention whatsoever in any company pronouncements these days. It has simply disappeared from the radar.
