I apologise if I come off sounding like a negative troll. That's not the intention. Well, if I look inwards, I suppose my intention is more that I don't want low researched investors to put their house on this assuming the $2 target is happening, and hope they get that tattslotto win.
I believe in this sector, and I really want EGR to succeed. Perhaps I was sucked into the hype around the time of the CR, where there were many plans of processing plants, and recycle partnerships. Lots of very positive testing results, and lots of non-binding deals signed.It was full steam ahead. Even long lead time equipment was being sourced, such was the certainty of these plants being built. I felt like an informed investor, doing my research. I was doing more than just reading HC, but the excitement in the HC forums helped to take a plunge.
Then nothing. What happened to these recycling plant partnerships? What happened to Kwinana? The world was full of talk of the importance of graphite going forward, if only we could get a shovel in the ground and start digging. Were we missing the boat?

It’s taken a few years of slow movement, but maybe we’re getting there now. These last few announcements have been brilliant, and shows us that having some patience may actually pay off in the end. Although, I’d still like to know when? The SML took how many years to get? When will we get finance to move forward? When will a binding deal be signed so we know we can actually sell what we produce? When do we have an operational mine? There are still no forecasts of when this may happen.
I just don’t want potential investors to see a rising SP, and assume its full steam ahead. It well may be, and some people here who bought low, may be buying their gold plated EV soon. But it may not be happening soon.

If I was looking at EGR for the first time today, my sentiment would be buy. But I wouldn’t put my house on it. Being a current holder, my sentiment is hold. I’m not topping up (I’ve done that before as it was dropping), I’m not selling, as I believe in the importance of getting away from fossil fuels, and graphite is an important part in that equation, so I want my portfolio to have companies like EGR.

Personally, I don’t think this is going to happen in a short time frame. Saying things like “buy now < $2, or buy later > $2” does not help the cause IMO, it sounds like a late night TV infomercial. It may well be true. Just that “later” could be next week, or it could be sometime in April, 2035. You have been showing $2 images since 2021. Or maybe, it may not happen at all, because that list you created to hit $2, never gets completed.
