Just to back up the work that Alex has already posted here on numerous occasions .... I met with him in Melbourne just over a week ago and we went over the data that has been released to the ASX by the companies in detail.
I want to put on record here that I think that his analysis is accurate and that we have a much larger gas resource than any of us can imagine.
The indicative free water line at 4560 meters is a guess.
None of the companies, STX etc drilling in the basin have stuck the Gas/Water contact. The 4560 figure is a guess based on the figures from Waitsia. There is no evidence that this is the case.
Alex proposed that there is a strong chance, and I agree with him, that our reservoir, as defined in the mapping above, is completely full of hydrocarbons .... both gas and Oil.
If we are right, then I am confident that we have a gas resource multiple times what has been published over a 160 square kilometre reservoir.
