South East Asia is not China, it is a mixture of different politics and economies, and so the region can not be moved forward so easily by one central controlling body.

My sense is that the growing middle classes in SEA have stalled, and that like everyone else, they are reigning in their spending, hence the demise there of Groupon and Rakuten.

The unfortunate thing for E88 though, is unlike Rakuten, they don't have anywhere they can retreat to, they just have to hang out there, and hang on.

The next financial report will be interesting.
Is Thailand still making a profit?
What are the losses in the other areas compared to last time?
How much is the cash burn now?
Was the marketing spend used wisely, and did it achieve any good results?
Lots of questions !

In this environment, even a neutral report would be good, but a poor report is going to be dealt with harshly by the market.

I think we know the answers to those questions already. How can $9mil cash burn per quarter stop, seeing it gets worse every quarter and don't forget the worse it looks the further they stretch out merchant payments to stop a $10mil loss.
Thailand may be in profit.

Only hope is a takeover for market share which may be the entire company direction.

Shopping in Asia is fun, I go there quite often. People don't want to transition to shop online.
