Maybe it is or isn't. Although what little knowledge i have been able to put together ~ $1m or in new sales is roughly want many software firms work too.
Now that's an average as sum will produce less and some more - but on average I don't think is not unreasonable?
(*also I like round numbers - maybe that speaks to OCD - but that's another story ).
