With the potential of NEA being taken over by private equity and that the NEA board has recommended shareholders accept the offer, I am wondering if Dr Rob Newman (NEA CEO) will come back to 3DP.
Rob Newman helped float 3DP back in the day and was then 3DP's Non-Executive Chairman but due to increasing time commitments, resigned to concentrated on his role as CEO at NEA.
At the time, he had 13M shares and 5M in options in 3DP. I have no idea what his shareholding is now with the most recent annual report (30/06/21) showing Mr Newman was not a top 20 shareholder.
His contacts would be invaluable to 3DP's on-going commercial development and sales.
It would make sense if he did and it would be interesting to see if this plays out.
This is just speculation on my behalf, no insider knowledge and I have no idea if the current 3DP board would want Mr Newmans involvement.
I am just throwing my thoughts out there.
