Hey Booter. Much respect to you & Tech for speaking up. I know, like myself, both of you have been following Vection for ages now. Appreciate where you are both coming from re the buying revenue rather than ‘earning’ it. I was initially very pessimistic on the acquisition avenue. In honesty, it almost gave me the impression they had given up on the core VR stuff that most of us were here for. In recent time though, Ive come to appreciate this is not likely the case. I see this diversification is a bonus more than anything IMO. Both BC & JMC look to be on track to bring in more revenue within 12 months than they have cost to join us. With them they bring awareness to the core VR business, but offer complimentary services to expand our offerings. Todays announcement confirms this as we now have clients in Defense & Sports Betting which from my understanding were brought about by the JMC acquisition.
While yes, they are absolutely getting paid likely well for their troubles, I don’t think that either Dr Haasis nor Dr Centemeri would for a moment put their reputations toward something they didn’t see significant potential in. Both are highly regarded individuals with recognised industry experience & followers. They have come to assist us in growing the 2 brand new verticals that have been recognised as ripe for disruption. They alone give me massive confidence in holding here. Revenue from the acquisitions in the mean time will assist fund us until the Pharma & Automotive sections gain traction & hopefully support themselves.
That being said as you know we have the Revit Integration currently in beta launch which once released to market will bring immediate & likely recurring revenue. This is absolutely the core reason most of us are here & most likely to bring us cash to bank. With 70% of worldwide AEC userbase, Autodesk recognise the benefit of our software working alongside theirs for the real time connection. Upon official launch, of their international userbase, we don’t need 10%, not even 1% of their current users to try it, just 0.1% or 11,000 users @ $2,000 each is $22 Million Dollars straight away, likely recurring annually. Autodesk will also be doing a lot of the marketing for us I would assume, much like how HP & Dell are packaging Mindesk with their PC’s for Enterprise clients.
From a technical point of view, weve officially broken from the depressing 12 month long downtrend & are now headed back in the right direction. So yes I agree with anything in life always listen to both sides of the story and make an informed decision on your investments. It is very easy to be blinded by the positives, however I think we have reason to be positive in the future of VR1. All the best holders.
