Rough indeed. I did read a clause in their rules somewhere, that the applicant can request the hearing in 25 days from the notice of hearing (public petition timing). But it wasn't clear what circumstances could allow. As a frustrated, expectant holder, I'd say that >3 months in their "system" warrants an expedited hearing.
But that may just piss them off and put our next ones at the back of the queue.
