Ok if anyone is interested, so the debacle I’ve been through with both CommSec and advanced share registry with “where the hell is my 58k gone” has been finally understood..
Commsec don’t transfer the cash to the registry until 2 days before a rights issue ends, they don’t tell you this when you buy them and pay tha application money.. (read what you will into that, I had raised eyebrows) so apparently it will be with advanced tomorrow..
I transferred the remaining 20g this evening and it should all work out in the wash by Wednesday..
So my note to self now is, pay for your entitlement first, then buy rights on market..
Ohhh and I really need to change brokers..
Advanced were fantastic to deal with, kudos for understanding my level of disgruntlement..
