I got a phone call today (late afternoon) from someone representing ICG.
I explained that I was responsible for 3 holdings but had as yet received no paperwork in the mail
However I said that I intended to do it all through Advanced Share Registry over the weekend
I was told that I was "very well informed" which I explained by saying that I had been watching a forum (not naming HC specifically) involving many (including some large) shareholders who were all "very keen" and that's how I knew.
Clearly many SHs were not so aware of that option
I slipped in a comment about hoping that ICG would "just get those drills into the ground and find something..." but this was let through to the keeper and the chat ended (plenty more SHs to ring I guess!)
The announcement re the extension came out shortly afterwards (gives me a bit more time to shuffle some funds around to finance everything)
