there are more nuanced arguments re pay.. i see plent of execs on the ASX in explorers only lining their pockets with 500-600k+,so you can argue market value in favour of the rise..you can also argue they took extended lower directors fees while transitioning from explorer to producer, you could also argue that as operations grow, so too does workload.. so i direct correlation of wages to share price is not a fair metric, wages to earnings would have a bit more standing, but again its not the full picture.
if you have no long term desire to stay in, you might as well sell now and put your money where you think it can appreciate more.. the fact that youre underwater or not shouldnt come into it. barring any tax considerations
