Hard to say really - I was suggesting they raise a few months ago to be safe (I think I posted a few times to that effect) but there was no real hurry from the company (consistent with some of the statements at broker updates). I stopped posting a while back cause I couldn't see how they could keep the cash rolling for a long while but as you say I didn't know if they were about the drop a deal or not - I figured I would get a call at some stage which was fairly recently. I think it might have been done earlier and at a higher price if it wasn't for ASIC 'protecting' shareholders - but I'm not really privvy to the discussions - it does seem that they were an influence on the price being set lower so there was no question of existing smaller shareholders being disadvantaged by the largest one underwriting - in this case it is very attractive to all to participate and keep the largest holder from acquiring their available shares at 1c. Now we know the ex date is still to come it is possible the SP rallies back to 2c+ if people want the right to buy more @ 1c. I understand some selling - it would be frustrating to read the deal and pricing but when I thought it through I understood the drivers and if you participate and the SP finishes at 1.5c or higher after than you are much better off - same holding but the company is cashed up and ready for news.

Some time this year and next there will be news about quite a few things and that might give potential upside - and maybe plenty of it - but then again maybe not . . .
