There was an article earlier this year that stated that all of the 1oz blanks for USA Silver Eagles came from Perth Mint. The USA just stamps/presses the blanks.
So if USA buyers want to buy silver coins atm they would be importing them from Canada , Australia etc which would maybe diminish other country supplies of silver.
