If it happens imho it should be a good thing for shareholders. I had a similar experience years ago with a failed winery stock I bought for $0.009 a share which was relisted as a tech company and the share price peaked a year later at $0.30. So it can happen.
Look at this stock itself. It used to be a failed geothermal miner called the Raya Group, relisted at $0.025 in early 2016 as XPE, and peaked at around $0.15 not long after that. Then of course it collapsed.https://www.wise-owl.com/news/internet-of-things-company-xped-to-list-on-asx
