AMP energy who are currently executing agreements for Advanced Fuel Project (hydrogen plant) land purchase and royalties with IRD at Cape Hardy.

IRD full approval for multi user deep sea port (cape size vessels)

So you see they have access to desal water, hydrogen and a port to ship all at one location. Government will go where they get most benefit and catalyst for investment.

If you do some research about Cape Hardy and infrastructure SA you will see government has a much broader plan than just green iron even the rail line to the mine is earmarked for multi use to take grain trucks etc off the road.

The difference is IRD management are getting the job done no fuss with a lean management.

You might want to do some research before laughing at people, as for GFG not counting, seriously it’s a South Australian iron ore miner and steel producer with its hat in the ring to secure green iron funding which has already received green iron support.

GFG is competing directly with MGT for government dollars, likewise IRD both are further advanced than MGT.

Hopefully MGT can still get a piece of the pie but they are still 6 months away from starting putting out tenders for a DFS if the MOU becomes a binding agreement and then 18 months to FID

Just calling it as I see it, management have dug a hole here they need to cut staff overheads etc and perhaps bring in another investor even at a low number to get things moving.
