OK, now it makes sense @vinnie48, thank you. Now that I've fixed the net avg to the correct figure, the pre consolidation net average, the numbers show what they should be. The P&L is now properly red by the sad number I knew was underlying.

The only way I can reconcile this to myself, why I didn't think to just fix it then when I knew this is not right, I can't be over 50k in the green, is the consolidation happened in December 2022, about the 4th bout of chemo, the chemo brain had well and truly taken hold. I just let it be and knew to not sell. Just another item in sundry things left over from that 18 months ticked off. Thanks again vinnie48.

Try out chemo brain and live, maybe COVID brain fog is similar, with a stunned mullet effect, then you might understand why I didn't fix it then, 17 months ago.

None of this changes my position on Redflow, I've known our unrealised loss was significant and growing.

Checking in from time to time on other battery companies that have been promoted here or that I knew about has been useful for me in gauging progress. Those who are profitable or can start to manufacture their way into profit with reliable batteries will benefit from what the world needs by way of storage in league with renewables. LDES battery technologies will evolve, there will be new technologies too, some will survive the road to commercialisation, the others quietly painfully disappear.

My hope is that Tim Harris will be vindicated in practice, that the National Battery Strategy "is directly relevant to Redflow and reflects the ongoing government engagement we have had over many months."
