You aren't buying an option - you're getting it for free if you purchase X amount of shares in the SPP. I'm sure if the share price moves above 7c you'll be happy to convert said option. Sure, you can buy 2 3.5c shares on market for the same price as converting the options, but if you buy in the SPP you can buy 2 3.5c shares and get one attaching option for free. Bit of a no brainer as to which choice is the smarter move don't you think? "These damn offers" are the necessary evil for an exploration stock. If they don't come cap in hand how do you expect them to raise money to keep exploring? Yes, sure, they have done some absolutely pathetic capital raises here - I haven't been impressed either. But at least, as others have also said, this time they are going to a worthy recipient.
