Hi Jacko, actually the “I” of the SRN stands for Issuer Sponsored, meaning the options are issued directly by the company, To my knowledge this is the standard practice everyone uses to issue options.
I’s a very easy process to have them brought into your share trading account. Once they’re issued and you have the SRN number starting with the letter I, it only takes a few minutes to fill out the online form with this number to have them show up in your account. With my online broker CMC Markets they usually hit my account the next day, or 2 days max. The only thing is that the name and address on the options must match exactly the details on your brokers account.
