To date they can't scale in a big way. History tells you that. YOY revenue growth off a small base is pretty poor. They predominantly build hardware with software and a small manufacturing business in Australia is a very tough grind. On top of that they are incurring probably $700K a year in costs being an asx listed company.
Unless they start to rapidly grow the top line they will be ignored by the asx investors as they have been to date barring a few stalwart believers. The history is also an anchor. The lower risk play here is to take it private, save around $700K a year in costs straight off the bat and try and grow the business rapidly without all the compliance red tape that comes with being listed. How many presentations has the CEO given to try and explain the business and get the market interested? His time would be better spent doing business rather than explaining the business and flogging a dead horse on the ASX.
