Not sure about the timing of the div on the ordinary shares, but suspect it could be delayed to around Feb. for a Sept year end.
However you would be better off holding the pref. shares that pay a higher div. and are trading at a discount to the price of the ordinary shares. The div. of 4.5c on the pref. shares is paid on 15.12.03 to holders as at 01.12.03
