Just FYI - when you buy shares on market, you aren't making a charitable donation to cancer research, but you definitely are making a charitable donation to another mug punter who wants to offload on you.
Buy into an IPO or entitlement - then your $ goes to the company to spend. Buy on market and your $ goes to Steini, Bucky, Dalts.....
