So I think i see where you've gone wrong here. You're looking at this from the announcement:

"The Retail Entitlement Offer is non-renounceable and cannot be traded on ASX or any other exchange, nor can
it be privately transferred."

What that is saying is that the entitlement to purchase at this discounted rate cannot be traded or transferred. I.e. you as a holder can't sell on or trade or give anyone the entitlement to buy those shares, only you as a holder can buy them. Once you've purchased them, those shares can of course be traded on the ASX like any of the rest of your holdings.
