No offence intended - and thanks for the due respect. It was a positive move seeing Fabian come into lead the company. I can understand Indonesia may have its challenges, though let’s do a few calculations; if it was to sell for $10m, even if profit margins were 20% and only 20,000oz were produced annually, the profit margin would be in excess of $10m annually. We’re seeing a tightening in the economy, walking away from something that has the potential to be profitable (in particular if sizeable new discoveries can be made - ie in addition to the maul vein system) may not maximise returns for shareholders. I don’t think Fabian provided any indication in the video of a possible sale price, though I’m yet to watch the video again. Either way the company hasn’t announced whether it’s just the lease or whether the assets/plant are potentially on the table, what makes up the final “deal” if it goes ahead, will certainly be important to consider.
