The offer was prior to due diligence. The size of the current debt & Labour market conditions means any business that buys it has a two year time frame for recovery. It makes sense that the majority SH Dearborn has that time frame. Affinity is just a subsidiary of Dearborn. As the independent broker said, this is a good realistic offer to SH. It offers either a buyout for a good sp or the option of staying in the company for the inevitable LT recovery, esp of the American market. We've come out of this rollercoaster ride quite unscathed & with a good LT option.

"Affinity is just a subsidiary of Dearborn". - I don't think this is correct. They appear to be two different private equity firms.
