Wasn't many people willing to buy TRS even though it was turning around and interest rates were easing and tax cuts were trickling into peoples pockets.
So a small amount of volume to push price down to make offer look more attractive wouldn't hurt. Wonder who pays for this or its all part of some investment bankers advice fee paid to guarantee a prospective takeover target doesn't refuse.
