I worked for the produce markets before they moved to Pooraka. My brothers work at the Pooraka market, both for different wholesalers. The wholesalers like to play the markets, buying excessive certain produce, storing it with the plan of releasing it when others have exhausted their supply.
If you want to blame someone for old stock, talk to the wholesalers.
