I am a NO on this one. My recollection is that about 15 years ago the minority shareholders in Blueberry Farms of Aus Ltd and later Costa were forced out by these same PaineSP people. At the time, again, weak management went along with the plan that allowed PSP to provide debt and expertise (including Driscoll knowledge ).
Not many years later the plan was different and most of the company was sold back to the ozzie punters including gullible institutions. Those institutions are now all too willing to go along with management' s thoughts. My recollection is that there was a Court Case in Melbourne at the time. A couple more wet weekends and I shall recollect more of this incident from my files and apprise Hot Copper followers of more details.
Australia should keep as much of its agriculture as it can.
