Good news continues to flow from SA!

Building the world's biggest grid battery recently, was the start of more great things for the state. And apparently it has already paid for itself?

The SA government will be offering 40,000 homes the opportunity to sign up for a home storage battery with a government subsidy of up to $6000 each! The offer opens next month!

Today, Sonnen, a huge German based battery maker has announced that it will be using the old General Motors Holden factory site to build a factory that produces home and business storage batteries for Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Their first clients will be those who take up the SA government’s home battery offer! There are spin offs for other companies, as well as 430 jobs on offer!

This of course means, more demand for Graphite! The momentum for sales of home and battery storage systems is increasing rapidly worldwide. Australian farmers are increasingly turning to solar power and battery storage to reduce the energy costs of running their farms. And 3 new solar farms with battery storage are to be built at Northern Territory airports!

Graphite demand continues to grow and that momentum will only increase! More and more companies worldwide are building battery storage factories and gigabattery factories! The use of Graphite as a fire retardant in cladding, the industrial use of Graphite and the manufacture of Graphene is also increasing rapidly. And without doubt, the massive amount of Graphite needed for electric car, truck and bus vehicles is going to astronomical!

All this is great news for VRC and the other quality Graphite miners!
VRC may gain its mining licence and mine funding at just the right time to be up and running to supply some of those huge demands! Let's hope that the Mining Licence is granted ASAP!
