@Beton2 The 'population' of Austria has absolutely nothing to gain from this project. Initially it was supposed to gain from having a local mine, including the production facilities, those negotiations failed for a variety of reasons, the most important one of those was, that the 'investor' wasn't seriously considering this to ever become a mine. It was/still is just a cheap purchase which was ear-marked to be traded at a profit IMO.

In the meantime: How can the 'population of Austria' be only remotely interested in a project which might provide a minimum of local jobs, but the raw material is transported elsewhere (Saudi Arabia) to be dealt with further??? only to be bought back by buyers, some of whom might be European, at a higher cost, both money-wise and environmental (transport out and back).
All this is happening in a scenically beautiful landscape, which is used by locals and tourists in winter and summer and has protected species of all kinds living on it - and roads will need to be built, too.
I blame the original Austrian company, 'Montan' something for selling this to a foreign speculator, who already had a track record as a speculator only and not as a mine builder. But who cares when money changes hands.
I am glad the s.p, of EUR has shifted up a little - so some of you will be gaining. I would just now be breaking even, had I held.
