I think it is fairer to say that LIT has now opened pathways to receiving some money. However, how much and when, are really good and important questions.
LIT will have to open itself up to more partnerships to fulfil its dream of closing the loop. This will be both for extracting the raw materials and then downstream processing.
Focussing away from raw materials (mining) at this moment in time is sensible given the low price of lithium on the market. Even Albemarle are doing cutting back.
It is very easy to knock this stock given its seemingly sporadic approach to closing the loop.
VSPC seems to have a good news story, but it is years away from profitability.
To me this is a minimal speculative investment, with the biggest immediate concern being financial fluidity. Anybody who is sprouting anything else is, in my opinion, looking through rose tinted glasses.
I have a small holding that I hope will realise some potential in the next 2 to 3 years.
All of the above is my opinion not to be inferred as any advice.
