FWIW, I think that the company is looking to make announcements, any announcements, that it can in an attempt to reassure market because of the possible negative perceptions with ZZ on its BOD.
I have mentioned this before due to the issues raised with the sudden/unexplained resignation of ZZ & another Chinese director over at PET. See my previous comment re the deadline for directors’ nomination this Thursday for an AGM the date of which has not yet been set.
Yet, if any announcement seems trivial then the above strategy (if as I describe) may prove counter-intuitive & therefore be counter-productive.
