A couple of things I find interesting re EVS today:
(1) No mention of a Retail SPP to accompany the Placement to (yet unidentified) Institutions. (2) The SP seems to be holding up well - considering both the upcoming dilutionary effect of the 52.3 mill Placement and the fact that we are now into Friday afternoon trading. Nevertheless, I note some possible game-playing that could be intended to establish a support @ 21c, if not then, @ 20c.
I'm obviously pleased that my top-up @ 21c just prior to the TH has not been smashed by the subsequent announcement ... not immediately at least.
Just maybe the CEO's comment below has genuine validity - let's hope so! (emphasis mine)
"That we have been able to raise capital in a highly sought-after Placement at a materially superior price than the previous tranche of growth funding is indicative of the trajectory of the business and investors’ appreciation of the opportunity that lies before us".
