Both My wife and I owned these shares , I sold early she sold when the Chinese director came on board as was concerned with corruption , share price then went up even more , which surprised me .
There does seem at the very least a high level of naivety by the board of EVS for getting so closely involved at a Board level with Chinese interests given modus operandum for Chinese involvement , ie the high number of Chinese domiciled companies that have listed on the ASX then folded up after taking funds from ANZ shareholders .
Therefore although EVS seems to have only a flesh wound from its Chinese dealings , the latest announcement seems to indicate they still have not learned a lesson in keeping at arms length transactions with China .
