Is it a case of they have invested plenty already so may as well see it through or there is legitimately something more there as some seem to believe/hope.
No idea of the $ currently spent and the remaining costs/milestones nor the specific development milestones required to achieve. Perhaps it's continuing the already funded components and there in no further risk given if EFTI fails to deliver they wont be paying the milestones?
Either way - it's not negative - not that it has previously mattered!
