I recall from an earlier conference call the CEO stating that there were multiple customers who had obligated to using the new satellites, EOS required commitments from these customers so as to determine the scope of the project, he stated they would only spend the amount of money on satellite capacity to service these pre existing customers. He also stated this will require 4 MEO satellites.

The fact the government stated they want an independent satellite system, makes me believe this will be a seperate project. We really need to see more information on the tenders, we don’t know if they are talking about LEO or MEO satellites, if they will using microwave or laser comms and the big ? , the timeframe. The whole budget announced being over 10 years, the space component could possibly be any time.
