It seems to me that quotations of battery life of only 5 years and then the battery pack needing to be replaced at significant cost is going to be a major issue for adoption of the technology.

Hazer (I think it is Hazer) are developing technology to produce the hydrogen, from natural, on-site of the refueling stations.
