Hi Brad, not sure if anyone replied to you so apologies if I am repeating some things, here is my take:
There is no 'recent' NPV figures besides the ones from the original BFS announcement, new one for Epanko is getting updated ow and is due sometimes this qrt and in regards to mine life, both EGR and BKT have more than enough within their deposits to last more than we'll ever live to see dug out.
I have learned that NPV figures need to be looked at with a healthy dose of skepticism as IMO they have been used by brokers and CEO's as a successful marketing tool to lure in investors to provide capital...and part of the tricks used to make the figures look good is to promote very large resource and use very large output capacity so they get the numbers to look good just by sing sheer volume but that volume is usually many years away to actually be needed and come online. SYR is one example, another is RNU which have used large volume trick combined with upstream facility whereby they supply the Graphite at cost to their purification plat and then use projected sales figures for the planed spherical graphite which are much higher than what it actually is selling today, and even though they are promoting a long mine life already, they have gone back to doing more drilling which tells me their figures don't look good for Gov Funding to be approved.
So back to EGR and BKT, I don't think either one has those issues but I am not following BKT closely so I don't know what sales figures they have used but you should be able to find that out and compare that to EGR's figures, if they are roughly the same than that's pretty save as I know EGR is using very conservative figures which means higher likelihood of a successful operation with enormous upside if prices go as most predict during the next 10 yrs.
Location, both have their deposits in Tanz and both are superior in quality when compared to most non Tanz deposits, also both will benefit strongly by having access to cheap hydro power, plentiful skilled labor at a significantly lower cost when compared to western World deposits.
Why I am invested in EGR opposed to say BKT:
* 50% less SOI for EGR, which will make a significant difference if you have a long-term investment strategy.
* EGR has 4 potential income streams besides the Graphite mining operation, and very importantly 3 of those can be mult- location businesses.
* EGR has patented their purification method and if saucerful, that alone is worth multiples of current MC, if not there is no downside from current MC
but they are still years ahead in terms of purification plant design and processes.
* EGR has ~$40mil in the bank BKT ~$10mil
* EGR has potentially many more price increase announcements in the next 12 months than BKT and any other near term peer IMO
There will be very strong demand for natural Gaphite overt he next 10 years, so a few Co's wll do very well, I have just listed some of the points as to why I think EGR will potentially do better ROI for my money.
