The trouble with that logic is that next time you might sell only to watch it keep rising. Every time is different.
My best trade was a big position I had in EMC avg entry 22c. By the time I sold my last parcel for 84c I had only doubled my original capital, not quadrupled it. Every time I sold some for what I thought was a great price thinking I could buy it back, it kept going up. It was uncanny.
Yes there is not much value in reading posts here usually, but there is sometimes.
Number one rule is never chase a stock. It's better to buy the first or second retrace.
