Dear ,It is a "world first" in that it is the first drug focused on regenerating synapses.MPL is different in that it could potentially reduce the rate of degeneration and loss of motor neurons in the anterior horns and motor nuclei of the brainstem.I suspect that both drugs could be used in combination as could many of the other treatments currently in development.PAA has sought and received media exposure.Thanks for your enquiry.
