Interesting to see everyone perspectives. I am not convinced it has been handled as well as it could have been, but from an investment perspective I would prefer it was cut before there was any further negative impact on PAA's ability to operate. They tried to kick start it, they failed, so they killed it. It was never going to have any tangible impact on the SP unless the bucket moonshot really took off.

It is sad on a personal level for all the affected staff and their families and on a macro level for Australia, that a business like Epichem can't compete and prosper to continue to support innovation and research onshore.

I believe there will be a massive amount of pressure on the company once positive results for the MND trial are collated and released, based on movements like united2endmnd.org that @Peeteepoo posted last week and the pressure that resulted in the drug AMX0035 being approved despite FDA reservations. Hopefully clearing the decks (and the incoming CEO) can assist in managing this pressure to a successful outcome.
