But don't organisations like Oaktree look to invest in businesses rather than run them?
Maybe it's expertise? Maybe it's the fact that they just bought into/helped create the biggest producer in the West.
Lets face it, with $178 BILLION under management they can't be complete dummies, they must see an upside.
The again they haven't really sold it...they used it to acquire a stake in a much larger company that still has exposure to the same mine...
