We are up to the bankable study phase as the mine is not a green field site and there are current operations in place. Therefore, the contractors don't have to imagine how it will work, they've got an operating processing that needs to be upgraded. They have a test ore sorter that needs more capacity and more equipment. They have material being tested from various parts of the stockpile. It gives them a large degree of confidence in the data.
The change in strategy from earlier in the year is the extending of the open pit. The recent drilling (which haven't been assayed yet) has given them an initial view that this is better, cheaper and easier than going underground first. It just means the mine life is extended and has a lower initial capex and opex.
Lets hope the feasibility is done in a few months, not 6.
