    You are correct. It does say that the shares will be cancelled. It also says:
    The Company is seeking to rationalise shareholdings as a further step to optimise shareholder value and is looking at a range of national and international corporate activities.
    It is a mystery to me what "a range of national and international corporate activities" could be but one possibility is as I suggested. Anyway just throwing it out for discussion. I have no knowledge, I'm just guessing like everyone else here.
